Open source pegboard for prototyping

pegBits

pegBits takes the standardised 0.1” hole separation found in 2D perfboard and breadboards and extends it to a construction system in 3D.

We’ve been exploring this standard for making prototyping more accessible, taking a designerly and craft approach to prototype design, searching for the elusive space between off-the-shelf and custom designed.

We continue to devleop this project, and have new prototypes to share in 2026.
